Since 1968, MID Fellowship has awarded stipends and scholarships to students of all ages. Beginning in 2007, MID Fellowship awards annually book scholarships to students attending Memphis Theological Seminary and in 2019 to students attending LeMoyne-Owen College, the only HBCU in Memphis. Inclusive of books scholarships, over $25 thousand dollars have been donated to the college, seminary and individuals to support their educational pursuits. The response from the college, seminary and students have been overwhelming as reflected in their written responses.
Memphis Inter-Denominational Fellowship, Incorporated supported the LeMoyne-Owen 807 Drive. Rochelle Lindsey Triplet, board member presented the donation of $807.00 and stated, “It was a great honor to present my alma mater, LeMoyne-Owen College with the donation. My grandmother Evangelist Nettie B. Rogers, the founder of Mid-Fellowship, instilled in each family member the importance of education.”
In 2021, Memphis Inter-Denominational Fellowship, Incorporated established an endowment in honor of its founder, Evangelist Nettie B. Rogers to ensure perpetuity in supporting religious and public education there by building spiritual and moral fiber. MID Fellowship is working to fully endow the scholarship endowment over the next three years, by 2024.
